Welcome to the new official Compton Colts History Club website!
For those of you who don't know, the Compton History Club is a group of students(directed by Mr. Ken Mabon, 8th grade history teacher at Compton) who meet together in room 10 at Compton Junior High school to play history related simulations at recess, lunch, and after school. The History Club plays history related simulations that are approved by the Bakersfield City School District. The members are introduced to these simulations by Mr. Mabon. The members then try out the simulations for approximately 2 weeks, then Mr. Mabon hosts a tournament. Mr. Mabon sets the scenario that is most historically accurate(possible in the game), and whomever achieves the goal set by Mr. Mabon wins a certificate and $2 in store credit at the Compton JHS student store. The following students are the only official members of the History Club: Jory Granados, Andrew Fullwood, and Pedro Alamo.
